Hello! Welcome!

I found myself thinking a while ago that I wanted a place to be able to practice my writing and reflect more deeply on my life and spirituality, so that’s how my Substack was born. My letters are mostly thoughtful, sometimes tired, sometimes excited, and almost always curious. If you want to leave with more questions than you came with, this is probably a good place for you to be.

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

-John 10:10

My usual content includes funny stories, philosophical musings, thoughts on Christian theology and worship, and writing about my favorite books, both recent and non-recent. I also sometimes include thoughts about my day-to-day living, making my Substack feel a little bit like a curated journal. I believe writing requires a depth of thinking that is significant, and it can be very helpful when processing personhood. I also believe that this kind of thought in my writing can help me learn how to live more intentionally and focus on what is important. If you’re here, you’re probably thinking along the same lines, so feel free to come along for the ride!

About me

I am a 22 year old studying English Literature at university, which is why you’ll find that many of my posts discuss literary type things (or literary-adjacent things, I’m not picky). I love distance running, coconut water, pennyboarding, the color blue, drawing, playing guitar, and learning. If you’ve noticed that any of our likes are the same, maybe we should be best friends. I would be very excited about that.

Not yet convinced?

Just for your benefit, I’ve asked some trustworthy people I know to leave reviews of me to give you a better understanding of the kind of person I am. Read them and see that they are not biased at all! Then, once you feel like you know me better, you can decide if you want to stay a while. Just the fact that you’re here reading this means a lot to me, and I’d love to connect with you. :)
